Two teens injured in Santa Rosa transit hub robbery, shooting

Two teenage boys were injured Saturday evening after an armed robbery escalated into a shooting at the Santa Rosa Transit Mall, police said.

Santa Rosa police officers responded to multiple reports of gunfire around 6:26 p.m. at a bus stop at 500 Second St., where they found a 15-year-old boy suffering from a gunshot wound to his upper shoulder and mid-back.

Officers provided emergency medical aid before the teen was taken by ambulance to a hospital, where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries, officials said. About 20 minutes later, officers learned that a second victim, a 14-year-old boy, had also been wounded…
