(KRON) — The Novato Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that occurred on Monday.
NPD received multiple reports of an armed robbery at a jewelry store just before 5:30 p.m. on the 900 block of Diablo Avenue.

Officers responded immediately, but the suspect had already fled, police said.
Novato police gathered evidence and reported that four masked suspects wearing black clothing entered the business just before closing. Police did not reveal the name of the jewelry store.
One suspect held employees at gunpoint while the remaining suspects stole jewelry and other valuables from inside the store, according to NPD. One of the suspects sprayed pepper spray during the robbery. No one was injured during the robbery…
