(KRON) — A Santa Rosa man was arrested on Sunday after police said he displayed a handgun in his waistband at a food delivery driver who was in his parking spot.
The suspect, later identified as 28-year-old John Nicolopoulos, allegedly asked the delivery driver “if there was a problem” while brandishing the handgun in the 800 block of Sonoma Avenue, the Santa Rosa Police Department said. According to authorities, the driver had just completed a food delivery and was moving his vehicle from Nicolopoulos’s parking spot when the confrontation occurred.
Officers responded at 3:44 p.m. and established a perimeter around Nicolopoulos’s residence while calling out for him to exit the home. Nicolopoulos complied and was detained without incident.
Inside the home, Santa Rosa PD K-9 Ghost sniffed out a loaded Glock 23 .40 caliber handgun hidden under clothes in a laundry basket, police said. Officers also found an unloaded Alpha Precision Works APW-15 multical .223 caliber rifle in a rifle box…
