(KRON) — A 19-year-old attempted murder suspect who was considered “armed and dangerous” turned himself over to police Tuesday, the Windsor Police Department announced Wednesday.
The suspect, Ricardo Bracamonte Monjaras of Clearlake, was wanted for shooting two people inside a market at 10351 Old Redwood Highway in Windsor Monday evening.

“Monjaras was inside the store and briefly stepped outside,” Windsor PD said. “Moments later, he re-entered the store and shot an adult male victim. Investigators believe one of the rounds ricocheted and struck a store employee in the ankle. Bracamonte Monjaras then fled the scene in a vehicle.”
Both victims were taken to a local hospital for their injuries and are expected to survive.
Detectives issued an arrest warrant for Monjaras following the shooting. During the investigation, detectives with Windsor PD arrested Monjaras’ brother, 23-year-old Jesus Bracamonte Monjaras, and his father, 54-year-old Guadalupe Bracamonte.
