My Children! My Africa! is Athol Fugard’s drama about South Africa circa 1985. In the last gasp of Apartheid, violent protest and resistance on all sides reached their height. A gentle Black high school teacher in a rural township invites a white high school girl from the town nearby to form a radical, cross-racial competitive debate team with his best pupil.
