On Jan. 6, 2026, Wingstop expanded its growing enterprise into San Rafael with a new franchise establishment.
Founded in Garland, Texas, in 1994, Wingstop has established 11 signature flavored wings over the past 20 years, which they sell at franchises across the country. Wingstop’s new San Rafael location is the first in Marin, one of three locations throughout Marin, San Francisco and Oakland.
With community members excited about the new fast-food option, Wingstop’s wait time just a few days after opening was over an hour. DoorDash and other mobile orders plagued the new location, too…
