(FOX40.COM) — An evacuation warning was issued for parts of Guerneville on Monday due to the risk of landslides and falling trees, according to the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office.
The sheriff’s office said the warning applies to both sides of Neeley Road between River Lane and Montesano Avenue, as well as the east side of Orchard Avenue between River Lane and Montesano Avenue.
Authorities urged residents in the affected areas to prepare to evacuate, advising them to gather essential items such as medications, identification and important documents. Officials also recommended that residents identify at least two evacuation routes in case roadways become blocked.
