DUI arrest after erratic driving on S McDowell Blvd
On Sunday, February 22, 2026, around 5:29 p.m., a driver was seen operating a dark-colored GMC Acadia erratically near South McDowell Blvd and Anna Way in Petaluma. The vehicle struck a curb and the median before the driver fled on foot.
With help from a witness and an off-duty officer, police found the suspect on Evergreen Lane. The driver, Juan Castillo, age 35 from Napa, showed signs of alcohol use and was arrested for suspicion of D.U.I. under California Vehicle Code Section 23152(a).
