Restaurant Week has descended upon Sonoma County with restaurants offering specials for breakfast, lunch and dinner, now through March 1. John Ash has a $25 breakfast deal, which fell flat compared to the staple grandiose three-course prix fixe dinner menus of Restaurant Week.
John Ash is the elevated farm-to-table restaurant attached to Vinarosa Resort and Spa, tucked among the vineyards of Sonoma County. The sleepy breakfast crowd seemed to mostly consist of tourists from different areas, overheard discussing their wine-tasting itineraries over morning cups of coffee.
Breakfast guests were hosted in the sunroom, which overlooked a pristine, foggy and dormant vineyard. The Restaurant Week breakfast menu offered select dishes at $25 each, which seemed like a steal for a high-caliber, fine-dining restaurant like John Ash…
