The New Hope for Youth program has completed its first year as part of the Street Outreach and Crisis Response Team in Santa Rosa. The team helps young people and families affected by gangs and violence through outreach, crisis response, and family support.
In its first year, the team made over 2,000 street outreach contacts, conducted 471 neighborhood checks, and provided 9,800 hours of diversion and reentry services. They also hosted 103 prosocial events and offered case management for 82 youth and families.
