Man arrested after telling East Bay Parks worker ‘you are dead’: PD

(KRON) — A man faces criminal threats charges after he allegedly said “you are dead” to an East Bay Regional Park District (EBRPD) female employee last month, according to EBRPD police.

Back-to-back incidents with the suspect occurred just days apart at Point Isabel Regional Shoreline, said police.

In the first disturbance reported on Saturday, Feb. 21, police said the man knocked over multiple trash cans before uttering the threat to a park employee. He then fled the area before officers arrived.

“Due to his aggressive demeanor and direct threat, the employee feared for her safety,” police said in a social media post Wednesday.

East Bay Regional District Park police said the man returned to Point Isabel Regional Shoreline on Tuesday, Feb. 24, and “caused another disturbance.” He was soon detained by officers and later booked at the Martinez Detention Facility…
