Fairfield Carjacking Suspect Leads Cops On Wild Two-County Chase Before K-9 Takedown

Last Saturday’s carjacking in Fairfield turned into a high-speed, multi-county chase that ripped across parts of Solano and Napa counties before an American Canyon K‑9 unit finally brought the suspect down. Police say the driver eventually ditched the stolen car and tried to bolt on foot, but officers closed in and arrested him. Multiple agencies, including Fairfield police, Suisun City officers, and the California Highway Patrol, coordinated as the pursuit moved from neighborhood streets out onto Highway 12. Authorities said no one was hurt during the incident.
