(KRON) — A teenager was arrested for reckless driving in Rohnert Park over the weekend, California Highway Patrol announced Monday. An officer saw a BMW speeding on Highway 101 northbound as it was “weaving in and out of vehicles, making multiple lane changes.”
The CHP officer eventually caught up to the BMW i8 sports car, which topped out at 130 mph, authorities said. The driver of the BMW, a 16-year-old boy, was then pulled over at a traffic stop.
He was arrested for reckless driving. CHP said the BMW was subsequently towed from the scene.
