TV and radio mogul slashes price of Wine Country home to $19.8 million

Ryan Seacrest has cut more than $2 millions off the asking price of his 40-acre Wine Country estate after two years on the market.

The television and radio personality, best known as the longtime host of “American Idol” and now the face of “Wheel of Fortune,” is seeking $19.8 million for the five-bedroom, six-and-a-half bathroom Tuscan-style home at 232 North Fork Crystal Springs Road in St. Helena.

Seacrest’s listing comes as the Bay Area housing market is recovering from a slowdown in 2025. A recent Chronicle analysis showed that the average home value in St. Helena dropped 6.3% to $1.6 million last year compared to the previous year.

The 10,750-square-foot property was built in 2004 by James Nolan and architect Howard Backen, according to the listing with Cyd Greer of Coldwell Banker. It was purchased for $14 million in 2020 by Seacrest, who thoroughly remodeled the property before re-listing it for $22 million in 2024, per Mansion Global…
