During the final weekend of March, Lawrence E. Jones Middle School presented two spring plays: “Cat-Man and Kid Sparrow” and “The Girl with the Golden Locks.” Drama teacher Jill Zschach directed the two plays so that all the students that loved drama had parts.
“The Girl with the Golden Locks” saw the Fairytale Bureau of Intelligence with four agents, a chief (Reghan Wood), an assistant known as Little Pig (Joleen Chua), and M (Amelia Ghazikhanian), a fairy tech meister who turns pumpkins into awesome spy gadgets investigate and pursue a gang of bears seeking to control world order. Witches, dwarves, giants, and additional bona fides entered in this fairytale drama.
The Chief gave elaborate assignments to Agent Gold aka Goldilocks (Mischa Arango Barnett), Agent Red aka Rose Red (Samantha Rodriguez), Agent Wolf aka a Big Bad (Jakob De Simas), and Agent White aka Snow White (Lucy Engh) to investigate a trio of bears: Big Papa, the leader (Nico Gardner); Momsy, the femme-fatale (Lia McAllister); and Brutus “Baby Bear” (Liliana Pardo)…
