This party barn was designed by Kroeger Janev Architects in partnership with Jennifer Robin Interiors for both sophisticated entertaining and casual family fun in the rolling hills of Calistoga, a small, historic city in Napa County, California. Inspired by a good old-fashioned watering hole, the barn was conceived for grand-scale entertaining, balancing 19th-century saloon vibes with an industrial aesthetic.
Inside, the structure boasts a dining hall, bar lounge, caterer’s kitchen, mezzanine game room, and more, all wrapped in reclaimed wood, exposed timber trusses, and concrete floors that give the space its unmistakable character. Refined pieces harmonize with rustic materials and vintage elements to create a warm and welcoming space for large parties, cozy movie nights, and everything in between.

ARCHITECTURE Kroeger Janev Architects
As architect Sasha Janev puts it, the dramatic sliding barn doors capture the views, add drama, and blur the lines between inside and out — swing them wide open and your guests can dance under the stars. The project was recognized with a Luxe RED Award, a testament to the exceptional collaboration between designer and architect on this one-of-a-kind entertaining space.
What We Love About This Party Barn
The barn strikes a perfect balance between luxurious and laid-back, refined furnishings and thoughtful details sit comfortably alongside the “All Hat No Cattle” neon sign and the cowboy hat ladder. The mezzanine game room with skee-ball and a pool table, set above a soaring dining hall, is the kind of detail that makes you want to be on the guest list… and the bar, with its rope-hung shelves, brick backsplash, and draft taps, feels like the best saloon in Napa Valley…
