Canines rule the day RP Community Center

Dogs ruled in Rohnert Park last Saturday as dozens of canines and their humans gathered for the second annual Bark in the Park event at the Rohnert Park Community Center. Hosted by the Rohnert Park Animal Services and Community Services Department, the celebration of the best furry friends brought out dogs of every size, color, and breed – from tiny Chihuahuas to towering Great Danes.

Dogs competed for top honors in contests such as Best Dressed, Best Treat Catcher, and Best Trick. More than 20 vendors filled the “Barketplace,” offering everything from T-shirts and sweatshirts for humans to handmade leashes and dog treats.
