Midnight Blaze Guts Petaluma Home; Residents Escape Before Crews Arrive
A house fire tore through a Petaluma neighborhood in the early hours of Tuesday, May 19, 2026, and by some miracle, no one got hurt.
Firefighters responded just after 12:40 a.m. to the 1800 block of Meadowview Drive.
When the first unit arrived, heavy flames and thick smoke were already pushing from the front of the home. Both residents had already made it out before crews even pulled up.
