Solo driver uses ‘props’ attempt to drive on carpool lane: CHP Santa Rosa

(KRON) — A driver in the North Bay was caught for a lane violation by driving the carpool lane as a solo occupant, the California Highway Patrol announced Wednesday in a Facebook post. The driver was in a pickup truck and used “props” to make it appear that there was a human in the passenger seat.

CHP did not specify what time and where the carpool lane violation happened. A photo of the driver and his “props” used to present a human occupant can be viewed below.
