BRADENTON, Fla. (WWSB) – Authorities are warning residents about a scam targeting families during one of the most difficult times in their lives: after the loss of a loved one.
According to the Bradenton Police Department, scammers are impersonating funeral homes and contacting grieving families in an attempt to collect fraudulent payments.
