MANATEE COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) — A string of overnight vehicle burglaries across several neighborhoods is prompting a warning from the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office.
Investigators said suspects have been going car-to-car, stealing everything from cash, to guns, and in one case, an entire vehicle.
“The one night I left my truck unlocked, somebody came and checked it,” said David Whitmire, a victim of a recent car theft. “They found a bag, and they took it.”…
