SUN CITY CENTER, Fla. (WFLA) — An 18-year-old spent the night in jail and is facing a felony charge after taking a state trooper on a chase that had them driving in the wrong direction down a busy road.
The trooper was responding to another call at around 6:20 p.m. on Friday when Emorie Hamilton, of Sarasota, flew by in a Kia.

Hamilton’s arrest report said she was speeding, weaving through traffic recklessly, and using the shoulder to pass other drivers on Sun City Center Boulevard.
