NORTH PORT, Fla. (WFLA)— North Port Fire Rescue, along with multiple agencies, is working an 850-acre brush fire.
As of 9 p.m. on Tuesday, the brush fire had increased from 300 acres to 850 acres.
NPFR, along with the Florida Forest Service, the North Port Police Department, the Nokomis Volunteer Fire Department, Englewood Area Fire Control District, Vine FL Fire Rescue, Charlotte County Public Safety, and the Sarasota County Emergency Service, are working the fire.
