Manatee County, FL – Manatee County commissioners voted Tuesday to restrict new Flock Safety license plate readers from being installed at county facilities, buildings and parks without board approval.
Commissioner Amanda Ballard introduced the motion as county leaders considered privacy concerns and the law enforcement benefits of automated license plate readers.
