PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) — A man is dead after being struck by lightning while jet skiing in Florida on Saturday.
According to the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded near Fort Desoto, south of St. Petersburg, around 6:30 p.m. regarding a jet skier who was struck by lightning.
