SARASOTA COUNTY, Fla. (WWSB) – Firefighters from Sarasota County, North Port and Polk County have traveled to Texas to help battle the Ross Fire in Palo Pinto County.
The crews are part of a Florida task force deployed through the Emergency Management Assistance Compact, which allows states to provide aid during emergencies.
