All lanes of Manatee Avenue reopened Thursday afternoon after a fire at the Women’s Resource Center in Bradenton caused significant traffic delays for more than two hours, police said.
Police first warned drivers around noon that westbound lanes of Manatee Avenue were blocked at 15th Street West because of the fire at the Women’s Resource Center, 1926 Manatee Ave. W. The Bradenton Police Department announced around 2:30 p.m. that all lanes had reopened.
