Ghost bike memorial marks site of cyclist’s death

BRADENTON, Fla. (WWSB) – A ghost bike memorial now sits where 48-year-old cyclist Craig Prather was hit and killed while riding his bike in May.

The white bike, known as a ghost bike, serves as a memorial to Prather. The Florida Highway Patrol says he was struck by a driver who entered the bike lane. The memorial now sits as a reminder for drivers to slow down and watch for cyclists.
