SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) – Beaches are sunny in the morning, but a few thunderstorms will develop in the afternoon.
🏖️ Saturday Beach Forecast
Saturday is a decent beach day if you get there early. The morning will be mostly sunny with light winds from the northeast to north at 5 to 10 mph. Seas will be calm at 1 foot or less, and the rip current risk is low, so swimming conditions are safe. However, keep an eye on the sky because scattered showers and thunderstorms will develop in the afternoon. The water temperature will be warm and inviting, but plan your beach time for the morning and early afternoon before those storms roll in. If you see lightning or hear thunder, get off the beach immediately.
