SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) – Sarasota County commissioners have approved more than $3 million to extend the Legacy Trail, connecting two county parks and adding close to two miles to the trail. The new phase will link the trail all the way to the UTC area.
The extension creates a “park-to-park” connection near Nathan Benderson Park, tying the park to 23 miles of trail already established in the area.
