ENGLEWOOD — It’s the midst of winter in Florida, and with that comes dreary weather, storms and chilly mornings.
It can dampen the mood, but the weekend looks bright with an afternoon of craft brews, good vibes and fun.
It’s the annual Englewood BeerFest put on by the Englewood Sunset Rotary Club. The event is set to start at 11 a.m. on Jan. 27 at Pioneer Plaza, 325 W. Dearborn St.
Regular tickets are $35 with admittance at noon, whereas VIP tickets are $60 with early admittance at 11 a.m.

Beer is the star of this event, so there will be several craft breweries from Southwest Florida on hand to share samples of their signature beers as well as seasonal favorites.
Beer tasting runs from noon to 4 p.m. while vendors and bands will be available from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
