More than a reported 48,000 fans packed Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida, witnessing its share of history for a multitude of reasons. It was the first official big event where Vince McMahon was no longer connected to WWE. A company he took to new heights after buying it from his dad more than 40 years ago.
