ST. PETERSBURG – Afro Opera in St. Petersburg proudly announces its inaugural Black History Month Showcase on Feb. 24 at the Cathedral of St. Peter. Afro Opera was founded in 2017 by St. Petersburg native Maiya Stevenson. The primary mission of this entertainment business is to educate, enlighten and expose a wide range of individuals to the beauty of classical music.
