SARASOTA, Fla. – Officers with the Sarasota Police Department are investigating a shooting that left a man dead Sunday afternoon, the department said in a news release. Police responded to reports of gunshots around 4:30 p.m. Sunday, the department said. Arriving officers reportedly found a man dead at the scene.
