All Faiths Food Bank serves Sarasota-DeSoto neighbors with signature fall fundraisers

In order to bolster its efforts to feed neighbors who are experiencing hunger, All Faiths Food Bank will offer three signature events in the fall to support nearly 200,000 people in Sarasota and DeSoto counties who struggle for food each year.

Proceeds from the events will help support many programs and services that supply food and help lift people from poverty; provide fresh fruit and vegetables to ensure neighbors in need have access to healthy nutrition; and purchase and distribute thousands of turkeys during the holiday season.

“While working to end hunger is serious business, our team works very hard to ensure that the guests at our events have a wonderful time while supporting a critically important cause,” All Faiths Food Bank president Nelle Miller said. “From a festive long-table dinner, to a vibrant celebration overlooking the Gulf of Mexico, to our bustling, delicious and affordable Bowls of Hope, there is an opportunity for community members of all ages and levels of giving to support our efforts and show our neighbors they care.”
