SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) – Disorganized showers and thunderstorms over the southwestern Caribbean Sea PLUS disorganized showers and thunderstorms near Puerto Rico and Hispaniola could EQUAL Rafael. Over the weekend we expect these two low-pressure areas to merge and become better organized south of Cuba. As the Low leaves Cuba moving to the northwest, it has the potential to develop into Rafael.
