IMG Academy (Fla.) has sent plenty of offensive lineman to top power four programs throughout the years. An SEC commit announced on Saturday that he’s now heading to the Sunshine State to play with the Ascenders next season.
Soon-to-be senior and Oklahoma three-star interior offensive lineman commit Will Conroy is transferring from Cleveland St. Ignatius to the Ascenders, he announced via social media.
“Announcing the next chapter of my journey; I will be attending IMG Academy,” Conroy wrote on X . “To St. Ignatius, Very grateful for the man I have become. Special thanks to my coaches, teachers and especially my teammates. All hail the blue and gold. Blessed and excited for this opportunity.”
Conroy will join a stacked roster in Bradenton that includes the likes of four-star offensive tackle Keenyi Pepe , four-star IOL Breck Kolojay and four-star IOL G’Nivre Carr . The last two years have seen Five-Star Plus+ OT Jordan Seaton (Colorado) and five-star IOL Michael Carroll (Alabama) leave the Ascenders as top-ranked recruits.
