Six restaurants in Sarasota County stand out for having the most violations in recent inspections. These eateries were cited for double-digit violations, with one establishment found to have nearly 40 infractions.

However, the subsequent callback visit found 9 remaining infractions, requiring another follow-up, state records showed.
On a positive note, 25 Sarasota County restaurants passed their first inspection without a single violation during this period.
