If I were to ask you which beachy Florida towns are up and coming in the Sunshine State, I suspect you’d choose smaller, but well-known towns like Seaside, Anna Maria Island, or Fernandina Beach. But none of these were called “the next rising star of the Sunshine State” by a publication specializing in Florida. But a lesser-known town than any of the ones mentioned – Englewood – was.

What’s So Special About Englewood, Florida?: If you are familiar with Venice, Florida, Englewood is nearby. While Englewood used to be known as a fishing village, it is now beginning to grow and generate attention. Only In Florida called it “the next rising star of the Sunshine State” in November of 2024.
