ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (WFLA) — A registered nurse who was accused last month of stealing a patient’s checks and credit card, is being accused of robbing a second victim.
Trenton Duckworth, 23, was arrested on Dec. 13 for stealing thousands of dollars from his patient, a 75-year-old man with dementia .
Duckworth allegedly had written himself a check for $5,000, forging his patient’s signature. The St. Petersburg Police Department said he also stole the man’s credit card information to buy services for himself including gas, food, and to bet on sports.
Officials announced Wednesday that they identified a second victim of Duckworth’s while he was working at Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital.
Last month Duckworth was faced with several charges including 13 counts of credit card fraud, two counts of uttering a check with forged endorsement, and exploring a person over the age of 65.
