‘My son wasn’t protected:’ Mother has questions after son assaulted at school

BRADENTON, Fla. (WWSB) – A Suncoast mother is asking questions and seeking justice after she says her son was attacked at school.

Jamie Peebles’ son was enrolled at Electa Lee Magnet Middle School in Bradenton when another student picked up her son and body slammed him onto the ground. The violent altercation involving the student was caught on camera.

“My son wasn’t protected,” Peebles said, watching the video of her 11-year-old son Cason walking through the hallway was he was picked up and violently tossed to the ground…
