SARASOTA, Fla. (WFLA) — A small group gathered outside the Sarasota Police Department Tuesday, demanding justice and accountability in the hit and run crash that killed an infant and toddler and critically injured their mother last month.
“We are not here to be anti-police. That is not the message that we are sending. What we are saying is that we are looking for accountability as to why it took almost a month to make an arrest to June Fenton when it was known a few days after the accident as to who it was. Why there has been so much coverup, why not many details have been released,” said Junior Salazar with El Pueblo Unido.
