Discovering the Smallest Show on Earth

SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) – Howard Tibbals was fascinated by “The Circus” when he was a kid. He was so amazed by the logistics of moving such a huge operation from town to town that he created a scale model circus, the Howard Bros. Circus, while he was in college in the 1950s. The Howard Bros. Circus became a life-long passion. He donated it to The Ringling Museum, along with the money to build the building that houses the Howard Bros. Circus. The building is called the Tibbals Learning Center. Click and watch the story of this amazing man’s dedication to the Smallest Show on Earth.
