ENGLEWOOD — Scott Hart’s home on Gottfried Creek was torn apart by Hurricanes Helene and Milton, but he decided to make the best out of a heartbreaking situation.
Hart contacted the Englewood Fire District, asking them if they’d like to use his home for training before he demolishes it and starts fresh.
“Training at my house could save someone’s life,” Hart said. “These firefighters could save me someday, my wife, or someone in this community, so it was the right thing to do.”…
