Windy Sunday and Monday

SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) – Temps are already dipping from our peak last week. Wednesday we set a record at 92°, Thursday’s 90° also set a record. Friday’s 89° and Saturday’s 88° missed records by a few degrees.

We’re tracking a cold front that will push into our part of Florida Monday night into Tuesday morning. Windy conditions return ahead of the front through Monday. Rain is possible Monday night, but just like the past several rain situations, this one looks very light. Many areas on the Suncoast will only receive a few hundredths of an inch with this cold front.

Much cooler and drier air returns behind this front. Dew points starting Tuesday will drop to the 50s for a much more comfortable feel the last week’s 70s. Tuesday’s clouds and rain will keep us in the 70s for highs, then we hold near average, low 80s for highs next week…
