Florida Hiker Finds Massive Alligator Walking Down The Trail Like A Prehistoric Dinosaur

A hiker in Central Florida came upon an unusual sight on the trail. They were out on the Juniper Prairie Wilderness east of Ocala when they spotted an enormous Florida alligator lumbering along like it owned the place.

The saying goes that anywhere in Florida that you can find freshwater then chances are there is an alligator in it but the same cannot be said for hiking trails… That’s precisely why this is such a unique clip.

I’m a born and raised Floridian myself and it is quite rare for me to see an alligator fully on land. If I see them out of water, typically they are on the bank of a pond or lake and they’re still partially submerged. Or if they are fully exposed it is still common to see them ‘sunning’ on the edge of a lake that they can quickly retreat to. Seeing them walking like this in all their glory is not common:…
