A Manatee County jury convicted a Bradenton man of a fatal hit-and-run crash that killed a motorcyclist in Palmetto in September 2023.
Juan Victor Santiz Hernandez, 25, was convicted on three charges — driving without a valid driver’s license causing death, leaving the scene of a crash with death and tampering with evidence — on June 25, according to a news release from State Attorney Ed Brodsky’s office.
