SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) – With high pressure right over the top of us we can expect to see more of the same for the Suncoast with a slightly higher, but it’s not much, chance for some rain getting closer to the coast.
It has been a very dry week along the coastal communities, but the opposite for inland areas. We will see a return for more widespread rain beginning next week as an area of low pressure moves in.
Some of the storms could produce some heavy rainfall on Monday through Wednesday with elevated rain chances through much of the work week. We could use the rain near the coast as we are already 3 inches below the normal for July. I think we will make up for the deficit by mid-week next week…
