Back in the early 1970s, Sarasota Jungle Gardens, a popular local attraction since it opened in 1936, created the Exotic Bird Show, where parrots and macaws rode bikes, roller-skated and showed off their counting skills. But Alberta, a scarlet macaw, is not a performer.
