SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) – After nearly two years and a $13 million price tag, the long-awaited Legacy Trail overpasses at Bee Ridge and Clark roads in Sarasota are now open.
On July 21, county officials, along with representatives from the Florida Department of Transportation, Friends of the Legacy Trail, and Sarasota County officials held a ribbon cutting at the site.
